Meeting convened at 8:46 PM (ET) a quorum being present, the Chair being<br />
absent, the Secretary being present.<br />

In the absence of the Chair Alberto Luera assumed the Chair of the meeting<br />
without objection.<br />

The Secretary read the draft minutes of the December 16, 2010, NFC<br />
meeting.<br />

KPFK FY11 budget 9:03 PM (ET)<br />
<br />
The committee discussed the KPFK FY11 proposed budget. There were concerns<br />
raised about unbudgeted hires over the past year. It was noted that the<br />
solar panel project should not be in the FY11 budget because it's supposed<br />
to be funded by private donations. There was some  concern about the<br />
projected total revenue.<br />

Problems were noted with the spreadsheet itself, not all of the data was<br />
showing up for all members. Some members said that the numbers weren't<br />
adding up correctly.<br />
<br />
It was decided that the proposed FY11 budget was not ready for the<br />
committee's consideration.<br />
<br />
The CFO said that she was adding depreciation to all of the budgets.<br />
There was a discussion of which budgets were coming before the PNB and<br />
when.<br />
