Audio of the KPFK Local Station Board meeting scheduled for August 25,
2010 will not be posted. No meeting was convened and no business was
conducted, consistent with an interpretation that the board's quorum
requirement was not met.

KPFK LES Marc Herbst announced the schedule for on-air and off-air
candidate forums in the current delegate elections, and indicated that
the latest details will be on the Pacifica 2010 elections website,
which is prominently linked from the KPFK homepage. Herbst
additionally announced that he would be resigning as Local Elections
Supervisor and would soon be replaced by Les Radke -- without an
interruption in local election supervision.

KPFK interim Program Director Alan Minsky reported progress in
establishing local Program Advisory committees. Minsky also announced
the schedule for rollout of upcoming program changes at KPFK.

National Finance Committee Chair Summer Reese pointed out that the LSB
has a responsibility to meet with quorum fairly soon so as to review
and approve a station budget for the next fiscal year.

Unless a special meeting is called in the interim, the KPFK LSB is
next expected to meet on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 1:00 pm at
Palms Westminster Presbyterian Church -- a few days prior to the end
of the current fiscal year.
