REQUEST FOR NOMINATION OF LSB MEMBER The KPFK LSB will be electing a new member to fill the vacancy on the KPFK Local Station Board. It is for a Listener Member seat. Nominations can be made before or during the nominating portion of the Zoom LSB meeting to be held on Sunday, 12/14/25 at 10:30 a.m. Please send nominations (and a candidate statement, if desired) as soon as possible to LSB@KPFK.org. Each Nominee and/or their nominator will have an opportunity to speak for a total of three minutes during the meeting (which 3 minutes can be split between the nominee &/or their nominator) . Presentations should focus on the qualifications, experience and focus for future actions as an LSB member. Ad hominem attacks on individuals and organizations are inappropriate and can result in disqualification. The term will begin immediately with confirmation of the election results and end with the seating of the new LSB members in about January of 2027. Ballots will come from Opa Vote. Ballots must be received by 11:59 PM on Sunday, December 21, 2025 to be counted. Please send nominations to lsb@kpfk.org | |
