| November minutes 11/29/23 KPFK CAB Meeting Minutes Meeting Called to Order at 7:13pm PST In attendance: Dan McCrory, Joe Ayala, Michael Novick, John Donner, Ruth Strauss, Analisa Venolia, Marcus Avila, Stuart Landau Community Events: Dec 2 - Tree Lighting in Burbank Dec 7 - Screening on film about victims of assault who are charged with false reporting Dec 16 - Sale at KPFK building, starting at 10 Dec 15-17 - Melvin�s play �Revolutionary Genocide� is debuting at Theater 68 in NoHo, 10 tickets available for KPFK Updates from Michael: Building has been sold to music producers, would put on benefit concerts for the station and still allow the station some space Building will be renovated, made ADA compliant Trying to identify place to move to by Jan. 1 Potentially take old records to Amoeba Looking into $1/year contract rentals w/city Asks for help with moving items on Dec. 16 Discusses issues with online streams and archive, Ruth suggests contacting streaming provider Updates from Stuart: Station is in crisis, ridiculous amounts of debt Officer Reports: President (Dan): Reached out to CSUN for listener-volunteers Need to recruit new members for interview, hopefully interviewed in Jan.
