3  Set time and dates for future meetings:
MOTION   Be it resolved that the KPFK Programming Oversight Committee shall meet regularly on the third Monday of every month at 4pm. 

4  MOTION  Be it resolved that access to all KPFK Programming Oversight Committee meetings shall be via the teleconference service provided free of charge by Pacifica, currently Maestro Conference, whenever possible. If approved, access information will remain unchanged for upcoming meetings.

5  MOTION  Be it resolved that the KPFK Programming Oversight Committee urges KPFK management to prioritize resumption of receipt of Vital Signs or other appropriate listener metrics services as soon as possible. 

6  MOTION  Be it resolved that the KPFK Programming Oversight Committee requests a report from the interim General Manager to the July 18, 2021 LSB meeting regarding implementation of the previous LSB resolution on regular on air interactive Reports to the Listener. 

7  MOTION  Be it resolved that the KPFK Programming Oversight Committee requests a report from the interim General Manager to the July 18, 2021 LSB meeting regarding implementation of the previous LSB resolutions on Public Airing of Grievances (previously referred to as motions to discipline on air violations), in executive session if necessary. 

8  KPFK Listeners' Roundtable: a brief Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down for the best and worst you've heard over our airwaves since the last time we met. What caught your ear?

NEXT MONTH'S PROGRAMMING OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE MEETING:  
A standard set of interview questions was recently put to all KPFK General Manager candidates by the GM Search Committee, including:

What is your assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of the current KPFK broadcasting grid as far as content, format, scheduling and other factors? Why do you think our audience is so small, and how can we increase it?
What techniques or criteria would you use to ensure regular evaluation and improvement of program offerings? 

Our next meeting will focus on listeners' own responses to the same set of questions. With any luck a new GM will join us for that discussion.
