Report from the Executive Director 8:46 PM (ET)

Pacifica Executive Director Arlene Engleheart reported on Pacifica's
financial situation. She said that she was putting together information
for the PNB meeting this weekend. She's putting together timetables for
all projects. The audit took a lot of time till 2 weeks ago. The audit was
thorough. Pacifica Management will be taking actions suggested by the
audit.
In response to a question the Executive Director said that the Financial
Accountability Plan approved by the PNB a couple of months ago was not in
place yet but would be soon.
She said that the Spring CPB checks have come in, the National Office is
working on disbursement of the funds. She's also looking at the central
services situation.
She said that we'll be up to date with FSRN through April and will be
current with Democracy Now! By the end of the year.
She said that 3 stations had reasonably good 'thons this Spring, others
had problems. Overall we're running behind and not bringing in enough to
pay all bills at the stations and nationally.

Report from the CFO on the status of the National Office and Pacifica
Radio Archives 9:53 PM (ET)

CFO Lavarn Williams reported that central services have not been paid as
per the budget, WBAI has not paid any central services for FY10, and so
the National Office is under funded. She explained what the National
Office pays for and said that as of tonight the National Office was owed
$860,756 in central services payments for FY10 and $1,917,673 in central
services payments all together.
The committee discussed the report.
It was noted that the time line for the FY11 budget had called for the
CFO to meet with the Treasurers to outline the budget development process
and paperwork submission and to call for budget priorities to be discussed
in various venues. This was discussed also.
It was agreed that at the next meeting this would be done.
